• Please send your child in comfortable clothes that allow freedom of movement and are not too new. It doesn’t matter how big an apron is, your child will find some way of getting paint and glue on everything they are wearing! Although the paint we use is supposed to wash out it sometimes doesn’t, depending on the type of fabric it spills on.
  • Please label ALL your child’s things with their name.
  • To help your child become independent when using the toilet please ensure that clothing is easy to manage. Toileting is supervised, but older children preparing to go to school are encouraged to go by themselves. Please send younger children who are not yet using the toilet in their usual nappy or pull-up and send spares with them.
  • Please ensure your child always has an outdoor coat. All-in-one snowsuits are not practical for helping children to become independent.
  • If your child walks to Little School in wellies please send a change of shoes. Slippers are not suitable because they get too soggy in the wet room.
